Denser ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website, create an account, or use our AI chatbot and knowledge base services (the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information we collect

Information you provide to us

Account information: your name, email address, password, company name, and billing details when you register or subscribe.
Content you submit ("Customer Content"): documents, files, website URLs, text, and other materials you upload or connect to build and train your chatbots.
Communications: information you provide when you contact us, fill in a form, request a demo, or respond to a survey.
Payment information: processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Information we collect automatically

Usage data: pages visited, features used, queries made to your chatbots, and interaction logs.
Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and timestamps.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including building and running your chatbots;
process queries and generate responses, including through third-party AI model providers;
process transactions and manage your subscription;
respond to your requests, provide support, and send service-related communications;
analyze usage to improve and secure the Services;
comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

AI processing and your content

Your Customer Content is used to power only your own chatbots and to generate responses to your and your users' queries. We do not use your Customer Content to train shared or foundation AI models. To generate responses, your queries and relevant content may be processed by trusted third-party AI/LLM providers under agreements that restrict their use of that data.

How we share information

We do not rent or sell your personal information. We share information only:

with service providers (sub-processors) that help us operate the Services, including cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), payment processing (Stripe), AI/LLM providers, and analytics and communications tools, each bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
to comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests;
to protect the rights, property, or safety of Denser, our users, or the public;
in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

Data retention

We retain personal information and Customer Content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. You may delete your content or request account deletion at any time, after which we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring, all running on AWS infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent.

EEA / UK (GDPR): you may exercise these rights and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
California (CCPA / CPRA): you have the right to know about, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

International data transfers

Denser is based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required by law, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Children's privacy
